Custom painted precision fit stock

Last week we painted this precision fit shotgun stock for a customer from Wisconsin. He found us by chance from a google search, called us, we worked out the details and he boxed up the stock and shipped it to us. A few weeks later we shipped back this beautiful custom painted gun stock for his son’s shotgun. For those that don’t know, the precision fit stocks are a mechanical recoil absorbing fully adjustable shotgun stock.

A little know fact about Jackson Signs; we offer Giclée printing. For those that don’t know what a Giclée is, it is just a fancy name for high resolution “fine art” reproduction. Another little known fact; The large format printer that we use here at Jackson Signs is the same printer used by the gallery that printed all of those Thomas Kinkade “paintings” that you would see everywhere. The only difference is that they had 12 of them printing 24 hours a day. This printer was chosen because of it’s extremely high resolution and excellent color. Instead of just using 4 ink colors like a standard inkjet printer it uses 6. The 5th and 6th colors are light cyan and light magenta, these extra colors help the printer to match soft skin tones and other colors that are just impossible with a CMYK printer.
